ROLL DRAGS - TEXAS STYLE is coming to Sydney Dragway on the Friday night of May 24th, from 6pm - 10pm, and is set to take the sport of roll racing to the next level.

Competition will be fiercer, fairer and faster, but still open to any car of any performance level to have fun.

There will also be fireworks, DJ, grudge matches and the pits are filled to the brim with cars, traders and workshops for GT-R Festival.

WHAT IS β€˜TEXAS STYLE’?

FULLY PREPPED TRACK

  • Safer for high HP cars and better traction for 2WDs.

LONG RUN-UP

  • Through the tunnel, this helps make for even starts.

HIGHER START SPEED

  • 70-90km/h start speed for better traction.

CATEGORIES

  • Qualifying into multiple categories for an even competition.

LONGER DISTANCE

  • Approx 350m.

WARM UP BURNOUTS

  • For top brackets.

The event is open to all full-bodied cars on drag radials and can run on methanol, ethanol or petrol fuel.

Side pipes are permitted. Log-booked cars are to run with full safety equipment as per a normal drag racing event.

This means you can expect some 6-second, 200+mph Pro Street Cars to hit the track! The categories mean you race similar cars.
